Dimxsk I picked up Mystics first CD years back in the used section, why anyone sold it I have no idea. But when I saw she had a featured verse on the new Def3 I decided to see if she’d put out anything new and found this. Mystic is able to juggle serious wordplay, a positive message and tight songwriting into something that is completely new and listenable forever. So whoever owned that copy of Cuts, your loss sorry!!

teacake This WHOLE CD is my favorite. The Mystic is complex and multi-layered and every song displays a facet that is symbiotically linked to the whole. Intermission is a fine example of her taking notes from Socrates and breaking down different misunderstood concepts that have saturated Black Militant/Hip-Hop culture. I honestly urge anyone that has given up on hip-hop to give this a sincere listen. Favorite track: intermission.
